Our week in pictures

This has been a crazy week. My brother flew in from CA to meet Sydney and come to Noah's birthday party. He was here two days and it was a whirlwind. He is gone now and we have officially started our summer vacation. We have gone to the library and have gone out to lunch with Daddy. Not too much with a fussy infant to boot. We are going to Louisana in a month and I am really looking forward to getting out of here. Sydney is three weeks old and is still getting up every two to three hours at night. It makes for a LONG night. Baileyanne is doing okay. It has been an adjustment not being at school everyday. She is doing great on her new meds and is falling asleep a lot earlier each night and getting up a lot easier each morning. Being out of routine has been hard and adjusting to a new baby has been even harder though we are coping.... getting by, day by day.

Sydney's first time in her new stroller. Dan took all three kids to the park for me. That lasted a whole 20 minutes. Obviously, she was NOT happy!

Noah got a slip and slide for his birthday. The kids had a great time TRYING to slide. Keyword: TRYING.

All dressed up and nowhere to go.

Noah's birthday party at McDonald's. Yes, I made his cake, and one word of advice: don't tell your child that you will make his cake two weeks after his sister is born!

My brother, aka: Uncle Danny came to town from CA to meet his new niece.

Great job on the cake!! Your kiddos are all beautiful. Thank you for the birth announcement. She looks a lot like her big brother!
